At 18 people, the waitlist for the 5th Stoke Newington History Talks event on the 30th is almost the same number of people who attended the 1st event on the 28th of Nov last year! 100 tickets snatched in 4 days.

Testing the projector at the beautiful West Reservoir Centre for the 6th Stoke Newington History Talks event on the 28th. All 120 tickets were booked in 9(!) hours and there are more people on the waitlist then then were in attendance for the first event in Nov 2016.

The West Reservoir Centre sure has changed since it was an operational filtration plant. This Wednesday it'll host the 6th Stoke Newington History Talks event. Can't wait!

1989 - The New River filter beds and Pumping Station in Green Lanes. A relevant visual given tonight’s Stoke Newington History Talks event is held in the former filtration plant behind the castle. The filter beds were drained and built on in the 1990s.
